Shai Roos is an imaginative and realistic result-oriented Urban Planner. We met Shai when she hired us to do a project at Walton Development. Shai liked our future-of-cities style. And we loved her creative-and-practical style.
Now Shai’s at her own firm, SJR Planning Consultants, which suits us just fine because she has more time to play with us.
Shai has over 16 years of public and private sector planning experience. Shai was a Chief Planner for City of Dallas in both the Development Services and Economic Development departments. She served as the Director of Community & Economic Development for the City of Burleson. (We didn’t know where Burleson was, either. Map it.)
Before founding SJR Planning Consultants, Shai worked on land acquisition, entitlements and development strategy on 15,000 acres in the DFW metroplex. In addition, she’s an award-winning teacher for grad students at the School of Urban and Public Affairs at UT Arlington.
She’s plain-spoken, straight-forward, and gets stuff done. In our words, our kinda gal.
